Wet Carpet From Leaking Pipe in Califon

This homeowner had a leak from a plumbing line behind her sink in her basement, which ended up saturating a large area of the carpet. 

The homeowner made the right call and filed and insurance claim for her water damage and then called us here at SERVPRO of Greater Hunterdon County to perform mitigation services. 

When crews arrived on site, they ripped up the affected area of carpet and padding. Then, they removed the sink, the cabinet next to the sink that had leaked, and the drywall behind it.

Afterwards, the crews cleaned and sanitized the area and set up air movers and dehumidifiers to get rid of any water or moisture from the basement.
